Sunny Days with Lil' Inkers Designs

Hi there!  It's a busy posting day for me.  :)  I was inspired by a few challenges AND had some free time to stamp, so here's what I was up to this afternoon.

There is a challenge going on at Lil' Inkers Designs - Sunny Days Challenge.

The sad news is, that since I only recently discovered this fun stamp company, I've got just one stamp set (Mom & Dad Sentiments) and one die (mom).  So I tried to come up with something for their challenge in which they have inspired us with this picture (and lots of eye candy from the DT):

I made due with what I had and I guess I kind of went with the color schemes and maybe the horizontal lines I saw in this Challenge title picture.  I felt guilty using any other stamp company dies/stamps, LOL!  But in the end, I had to do it, the card was just too plain.  But I am so glad I played along...and hey, I now have a fun little birthday card on hand!  :)

Now I just need to take advantage of their coupon code and order some more goodies!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps Challenge Card #2

Hi there!  Thanks for stopping in!  I made for the newest stamp company I recently discovered:  Fresh Squeezed Stamps.
They are issuing a challenge this week using any of their stamps with a SUMMER THEME and they have posted a few summer inspiration photos as well.
I only have one Fresh Squeezed stamp - Words to Live By - so this WAS a bit challenging, but I wanted to participate in the fun.

This is my second card for the challenge.  My first card (HERE) was a "summer day" card and for this one I went the opposite route.  I thought about summer evenings and clear skies (and maybe sipping a refreshing beverage out on my deck with friends).  So I made this simple card using the sweet "friends" sentiment.

Thanks again for stopping by!

Have a sparkle filled day!

Fresh Squeezed Summer

So here is what I came up with:

Who doesn't think about weddings and showers during the summer?  I saw that "happily ever after" sentiment and thought how about a "his" and "hers" flip flops card!!  Perfect for a wedding shower or card to accompany a wedding gift, right?

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope your day is filled with sparkle!

CAS(E) this Sketch! - Believe

Hi there!  Happy Friday!  I was inspired by the CAS(E) Study Sketch yesterday and was excited to play along.  My aunt was recently diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and throughout her chemo I have been sending her cards each week to keep her positive and let her know she is always in my thoughts and prayers.
Here is what I came up with to send to her this week.

Thanks for stopping by!

Muse Challenge #16 - Teacher Appreciation

Hello there!  Thanks for stopping by!  I just wanted to share a card I made for the Muse Challenge #16 this week.  This challenge came at a great time since I needed a card for my son's Kindergarten teacher.  Here is what I put together after being inspired by this weeks Muse. (this week's muse also happens to be a daily stop for me during my morning blog reading time).  I am so glad I was able to play along this week.  This is my first time participating.  I have been following along and voting on all the awesome eye candy...I just have not gotten to play along yet.  :)

All stamps and supplies are from Papertrey Ink (except the notebook lined paper, which I picked up from Hobby Lobby a while back).

Pink By Design - Anything Goes Challenge

Hello!  Happy Wednesday!  I just wanted to share a fun little card I created for the Pink By Design: Anything Goes Challenge.
I love PBD stamps!  They are great quality clear stamps and they have such a variety of great sentiments!  I am starting quite the collection.  I just discovered them this past year, but I like what I see.  I am anxious to see what they have in store for their upcoming release this weekend.

Here's the card I created using their stamp set: Breast Wishes.

I paired that set with this cute Die-namics die from MFT Stamps.

Here is a peek at the inside of the card.  :)

Thanks for visiting!  Have a glitteriffic day!

CASology: ET

Hi there!  Just wanted to share a card with you that I created for the CASology Blog - Challenge #35...Extraterrestrial was the theme!

I grabbed this cute lil' alien fella from Paper Smooches - Little Fella and some stars from PTI's Star Prints to make this little "out of this world" scene.

Thanks for dropping by!  Have a sparkly day!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge: Color Blocking

Happy Saturday!  I am sharing a card I made for this week's CAS-ual Fridays Challenge: CFC93

The challenge was Colorblocking.  I got the idea for this card from a dress I recently purchased for my daughter from The Children's Place.

I used the CAS-ual Friday's stamp set "Woot, Woot!"  I apologize for the not so great pic...I had to use my phone...battery was dead on my camera.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!  Have glitteriffic weekend!

PTI Blog Hop - Monograms

February-Blog-Hop-Inspiration

It's been quite a while since I participated in a PTI Blog Hop!  I always love hopping around and checking out all the gorgeous creations, but I either run out of time to sit and create or my mojo and my free time never line up at the same time.  Does that happen to anyone else?  LOL!

Anyway, I needed to create a quick little set of notecards for gift for a friend.  I got out some fun and wild patterned paper I have been hoarding :) along with some coordinating PTI color cardstock and then got out the PTI Block Alphabet Upper Die Collection.

I made a set of 6.  1 of each color to keep it fun and fresh!  And I added a sparkly piece of glitter tape (LOVE THAT STUFF) across the front to break up the card a bit and just to add some glitz!

I even made matching envelopes!

Thanks for stopping by!!!  I am so glad I was finally able to participate!
